BC Supreme Meats Inc. is a meat processing facility located in Westwold, BC.
We work closely with the local agriculture community to bring high-end meat to
market. BC Supreme Meats is operating a federally inspected processing/abattoir
plant.
Production Operator Duties
Roles and duties as listed, but not limited to:
- Handles the day-to-day operations of the production and floor of the facility.
- Cutting and packaging meat
- Organizing production orders and other miscellaneous duties at the request of the Production Manager/Plant Manager. There may also be opportunities to assist other company sectors when needed.
- This physical role may require you to carry boxes 60lbs or slightly heavier.
Floor Operator Duties
Roles and duties as listed, but not limited to:
- This physical role may require you to carry boxes 60lbs or heavier.
- Stunning cattle
- Skinning
- Trimming
- Pre-slaughter duties
- Humane handling is necessary.
Required Skills
- Knife Skills
- Willingness to learn
- Knowledge of food safety
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
- Organization
- Experience is an asset.
