(SMHI) is to create a full-value supply chain to provide quality products for consumers.  The company intends to recognize the strength of the Canadian beef market by working with producers and marketing companies to provide quality Canadian beef in all markets.  With an accomplished team of experienced participants, the company will continue to acquire quality strategic properties based on conservative projections for the market by managing the operation of a value chain model that will allow for quality products to be supplied to the global market.

SMHI company will continue to expand the operations and ownership of processing facilities and land to create a closed-circuit supply model that ensures traceability. This allows the consumer to identify the product purchased from birth to consumption. The Company recognizes the importance of the control of supply, has experience in natural and organic production and seeks to ensure products can be properly marketed to consumers.  The company aims to be a preeminent supplier of quality products.  Once an interest in properties has been acquired and the projects are developed throughout the provinces, the company will continue to provide all the required services, skills and systems necessary to maintain each property to SMHI’s highest standards.

As Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions of Tanager Energy Inc. Pat brings over 38 years of experience relating to mergers and acquisitions. He holds current positions as President & CEO of Supreme Meats Holdings Inc (BC, AB, SK, MB, ON). Past President & CEO of Thunderbird Energies Inc. Past positions include Project Manager of Genesis Land Developments – Commercial Division, New World Ventures/Westcana Group General Manager Diamond Part Builders/FM Shah Building Design. Developed unique models for clients to purchase or takeover projects or companies under distress Specialized in financing solutions including bridge short term solutions with longer term solutions. Pat has worked on a diverse range of businesses and business development to improve financial structure and efficiencies in a variety of companies. These business developments ranged from $ 2mil to 50mil plus in values. Designations:  Statistical Process Control Certificate (SPCC), Canadian Standard Association (CSA), 2 Business Integrity Awards, Registered in the Congress Library, Registered with the TSX Exchange.

Pat started working in construction for his Uncle, spending his summer holidays and after school as a laborer framing custom homes throughout Ontario. After he left high school, he went to work with his father in the Millwright industry, where he learned to be a proficient welder in all positions, including structural and high-pressure welding.
A few years later, he worked in the Auto and truck exhaust manufacturing industry as a foreman, running a crew of 23 men and obtained an SPC Certificate. After that, he moved out West and worked as a sub-contractor supplying framing crews for various home-building companies. Later, he worked for Genesis Land Developers under contract to start their commercial land development division. Once Pat got that company up and running, he went to work for a different company to start their land development division, where, as a GM, he was responsible for overseeing all land development and construction projects. Pat has been in construction for 30-plus years. He has been involved in all aspects of construction from residential, commercial, light industrial and numerous land development acquisitions. These projects have ranged from $2,000,000. To $50,000,000 plus. Along with his Statistical Process Control Certificate, he obtained a Canadian Standard Association certificate and has 2 integrity business awards. He is also registered in the Congress Library for individuals seeking a reputable company to do business with. Please see the sample photos of some of my projects provided in this report. Pat is a family man with 36 years of marriage and 4 grown sons, now the 6 generation in construction. The oldest is a construction manager for multi-residential company, the second has his own custom renovation company, the third is a journeyman Glazer for high rises and the youngest is a journeyman electrician at 21 years of age. Pat also has the 7th generation on the ground with 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

Jim Bowhay

Through his leadership and participation in a wide variety of organizations such as 4-H – Beef Leader over 50 years of involvement, Sundre Agriculture Society current board V-President, Alberta Beef Producers- Past Director – Current Delegate, Livestock Identification Services (Brand Inspection), Feeder Association of Alberta- Zone 2 Director (Current) and, Chairman of Provincial Board (past), East Olds Feeder Association- current Chairman and Director for 32 years, Bergen Missionary Church – Past Governing Board Chairman, Canadian Professional Rodeo Association – Event Rep(past), 4 time Canadian Wild Cow Milking Champion – 1998, 2000, 2003,2008. Calgary Stampede Wild Cow Milking Champion – 1998, 2001,2002, Vice-President and Director of Sundre Pro Rodeo Association (past). Member of the Minister of Agriculture’s advisory committee (past), BioAdvanta Environmental Solutions (Specialist in wastewater) Oil/Water Separation & Sewage Treatment -Vice-President (past), Farm Family Award in 2019 from BMO and Calgary Stampede.

Jim has cultivated a strong working relationship with many different levels of municipal, provincial and Federal government officials and is looked up to as a real community builder. Jim’s 50+ years in 4-H as a member, leader and later a mentor has given him the ability to speak and communicate with people, whether in the work world or in the many different committees he has served on. Jim had 8 years of Oilfield experience as Operation Manager of Cousins Land, Spreading and disposing of Oilfield and Industrial waste. His duties in this position (manager, sales, and maintenance) allowed him to build a strong network of contacts within the oil Industry. Jim grew up in the dairy world in the Cochrane area and early in his teenage life moved to Sundre where his family switched to beef cattle. Along with his wife Nola of 36 years, he continues to operate a mixed farming operation. The operation currently consists of commercial beef, turkeys, laying hens, and goats in the past. Jim has built a strong ability and passion to not only educate the public but also market his finished product, “Meat”. Jim has been a farmer/rancher his whole life and not only has a passion for the industry and its sustainability but, more so, the youth and how we can give them the tools to carry on and succeed while producing wholesome food to nourish the country’s population. In closing, Jim prides himself on the network of influential and knowledgeable people he has built over the years, but more so in his ability to listen to understand, not just to reply! His favorite saying is, “God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason”!

 International Marketing
The Marketing department will work directly with all international clients to determine marketing strategies for the projects and the company. It will also participate in seeking out projects and advise on market matters concerning the company’s acquisition strategies.  (This role will be added or subtracted based on need)

VP Livestock supply
The VP of Livestock Supply will establish relationships with producers in Alberta and other provinces to ensure the livestock supply is in place for the company’s purposes. 

Corporate Legal
The Corporate Legal will maintain the responsibility to ensure that the Corporation complies with all regulatory and municipal laws and that the Company structure and documentation are current and accurate.
